A subsidiary of OIEC Group, Oil Industries’ Commissioning and Operation Co., OICO, was founded in May 2011 to provide professional services in commissioning, operation and maintenance for oil and gas projects. OICO has played a key role in sustainable production in important national oil and gas projects. Persian Gulf Star Refinery, South Pars phases 17,18,20,21 gas refinery projects, Azar oil field and North Azadegan Oil field are among some projects. OICO is honored to have innovative and creative staff both elites and veterans in different fields and all work efficiently with an integrated management system and high-tech machinery and services.
OICO family with some 4,600 staff is active across Iran in 11 provinces and is currently involved in 22 contracts and has already handed over 50.
Through a decade of activity, by considering CSR, HR and environmental values, OICO has proved excellent for its professional services.
Ever-changing challenges and complexities in oil, gas and petrochemical projects have driven Iranian companies on a path to develop skills and capabilities to provide systematic and disciplined approaches to execute projects successfully. To win tenders in such competitive environment requires novel and innovative managerial approaches in construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of oil, gas and petrochemical projects.
The need to establish OICO was arisen due to the atmosphere in 2011 that compelled Iranian oil industry to execute professional services in commissioning, operation and start-up and also to train experts in this filed which convinced OIEC and National Oil Pension Fund to establish this company.
Prior to establishment, OICO was active as a department at OIEC that proved its capabilities in commissioning and start-up in South Pars Phases 9, 10 gas refinery project.
