During his visit to the Persian Gulf star Gas condensate refinery, Dr. Manouchehri survey the OICO activities and praised its effective role in Commissioning and operation of this refinery.

During his visit to the Persian Gulf star Gas condensate refinery, Dr. Manouchehri survey the OICO activities and praised its effective role in Commissioning and operation of this refinery.

Dr. Manouchehri and a number of senior OIEC managers visited the Persian Gulf gas condensate refinery on Wednesday, 19 December. In a meeting held in the conference Hall with the attendance of OICO senior managers, Mehrdad Davoodi, The managing director of OICO explained about the main actions and future plans while Dr. Sepahvand the HSE manager presented the HSE Obligations and at the following of this meeting Masoud Pakizehseresht the project manager presented the procedures and process actions. 

In the new round of sanctions, the united states suppose that the issue of gasoline is one of the challenges they make the problem for our country while the Persian gulf gas condensate refinery make the country self-sufficient in this field, Dr. Manouchehri said.

He also mentioned that gasoline production is very important in these conditions and the OICO role in Commissioning and Operation of this strategic refinery is highlighted and acceptable.

OICO have good records in pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation and maintenance and also professional training of experts. Manouchehri added. He also mentioned that Oil minister has the same Idea about the positive and effective role of OICO in Persian Gulf gas condensate refinery project.

The change management should be the part of decision process based on creativity and innovation in project management and O &M management, Manouchehri emphasis.

Attention to the safety obligations and maintain quality as a fundamental principle should be two features that are very important of all stakeholders' goals. Since the Persian Gulf star refinery and its relationship with the crucial issue of supplying gasoline is too important to take special attention to it.  Issues such as, boycott, made in Iran, purchase of particular equipment and the speed of work are challenges which to be dealt with appropriately in the direction of national interests.

By attention to the high quality and safety principles, work discipline and management intelligence, we will reach to the sustainable refinery in a global standard. Manouchehri emphasized.

He also added that the experience gained from years of activity in South Pars fields has provided useful and applied the lesson learns to the oil industry activists

The third phase of the refinery will be completed soon on schedule, and the country will benefit from the production of high - quality gasoline from the full capacity of the huge refinery, he concluded.

The high - quality gasoline production from the Persian Gulf gas condensate refinery is 30 million barrels per day now while based on experts' efforts the amount of production will reach 40 million barrels per day.

Following the visit, the OIEC CEO, the OICO managing director with the accompanying delegation, also visited the site of Gheshm oil terminals on Thursday, 20 December, and attended in the joint meeting with the project managers as well as the senior management of the Gheshm Oil Investment Company.
